Research experience:

Dr. Yaolin Lin is an associate professor at Shanghai University of Engineering Science, before that he work as an associate professor at Wuhan University of Technology, a principle engineer at leading building energy efficiency consulting company in California, USA. He received his PhD degree in Building Engineering from Concordia University in Canada. He has over 6 years industrial experience on building HVAC controls, building energy management, retro-commissioning of building systems, and advanced controller development, and over 10 years research experience on building energy modeling and simulation. He has published over 70 journal papers, book chapters and peer-reviewed conference papers on building energy efficiency and simulation. Dr. Lin is an associate editor of international journals of Frontiers in Energy Research; Frontiers in Built Environment; Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering. He can be reached at yaolinlin@gmail.com.
